Team Doey: 11 Years and Running Strong

Team Doey is proud to participate in its 11th MMRF Race for Research in San Francisco. The MMRF is the world’s #1 fundraiser for myeloma research, raising over $275 million since its inception in 1998, and directs 90% of its total budget to research and related programming. Their efforts have led to the development of a continuous pipeline of cutting edge, life-extending treatments for myeloma patients. I say “life-extending” because myeloma is still an incurable disease. This last November saw an unprecedented FDA approval of 4 novel myeloma treatments fast-tracked by the MMRF. I am personally taking one of these new treatments now.

By running and raising money in this year’s race, we help the MMRF fund research that will someday find a cure. I invite you to join Team Doey, get your running shoes on, and be part of our team out there at 1pm Saturday, April 2nd, 2016. If you can’t make the race? Be there in spirit and in wallet by making a generous donation to the MMRF.
